U. S. R.O.A.R., The United States Raider Owners And Riders was formed as a way to connect Raider owners at a national level. U. S. R.O.A.R. does not compete with other organizations, it's goal is to bridge other organizations and promote inter-organization events and planning. U. S. R.O.A.R.'s primary purpose is in the organization of Rides and Rallies of interest to Raider Owners and Riders. Incentives to become a U. S. R.O.A.R. member will of course be offered.
U. S. R.O.A.R. was created to provide an organizational entity to assist in the management and planning of events, rides, and charitable functions. Because of specific laws in many states, attempting to organize charitable events without a Non-Profit Organization handling it is extremely difficult and violates some ethics laws.
U. S. R.O.A.R. is not a Forum site! For discussions and general photo/video sharing, we recomend The RoadStar Raider Forum. You will find many other Raider Riders that constantly discuss different aspects of the Raider.
Some of us are familiar with S.T.A.R., the official Riders Club of Star Motorcycles. Some of us are in fact S.T.A.R. members! Based on experience with some S.T.A.R. chapters and based on their website, S.T.A.R.'s policies and requirements are quite rigid. Many activities that our members enjoy, such as hanging out at a "Biker Friendly Bars", Wet T-Shirt Contests, etc... S.T.A.R. discourages. For instance, most S.T.A.R. chapters have a strict no-alcohol policy at their events, whether riding or not. S.T.A.R. deems these as not "family friendly". U. S. R.O.A.R. makes no policy regarding where it's members choose to meet, who they ride with, or what is acceptable as far as the venues that events are conducted at. We only ask that our members conduct themselves is a respectful and lawful manner when representing the organization.
